Dianna Dilworth is a journalist and documentary filmmaker whose work spans from covering architecture and the environment to music and technology. Her writing in design includes covering the large scale work of architects like Norman Foster and Oscar Niemeyer to the community projects on the local level as in her film Planting Seeds: The Bayview Operahouse Installation.
Her music inspired work often deals with themes of subculture behind mainstream popular culture. Her most recent film, Mellodrama looks at how a backyard home grown invention from the 1950s transformed the face of music production today. In her film We are the Children, she went outside the highly publicized Michael Jackson trial to meet the fans and find out what was going on beyond the news cameras.
